 MLA Jimpa inaugurated the work of expansion of indoor stadium

- Indoor stadium will be expanded at a cost of Rs 50 lakh

MLA Bram Shankar Jimpa today inaugurated the expansion work of the stadium while starting an important project in the indoor stadium. This work is being done in the field of boxing and wrestling, which will provide better facilities to sports lovers and players. This project will cost around Rs 50 lakh.

The MLA said that he had discussed this project with Rajya Sabha member Sanjeev Arora and with his cooperation this project has been started. This expansion is being done especially keeping in mind the players of boxing and wrestling, so that they can get more space for practice. He said that our aim is to encourage sports and provide every possible facility to the players. This expansion will prove to be a big step for those learning boxing and wrestling.

The MLA also said on this occasion that the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is making every possible effort to promote sports. He said that the needs of the players are being given priority and continuous efforts are being made to provide them high-level facilities.

Bram Shankar Jimpa said that this effort will not only be beneficial for the players but will also prove to be helpful in giving a new identity to Hoshiarpur on the sports map. There is an atmosphere of enthusiasm in the local sports community since the beginning of this project. Players and coaches appreciated this step and hoped that such efforts will not only bring out sports talents but will also lead to achievements at the regional and national level. Mayor Surinder Kumar, Chairman Nagar Sudhar Trust Harmeet Singh Aulakh, Chairman of The Hoshiarpur Central Cooperative Bank Vikram Sharma, Senior Deputy Mayor Praveen Sharma, Deputy Mayor Ranjita Chaudhary, Executive Gurmeet Singh, Varinder Sharma Bindu, Varinder Vaid and other dignitaries were also present on this occasion.
