Surbhi, Anjali, Shivani and Haral, the players who led the District Cricket Association's Punjab team, being honoured in the Republic Day function will inspire other players to come forward in the game. Giving information in this regard, Secretary Dr. Raman Ghai said that it is a matter of pride for HDCA that Surbhi Under-15, Under-19, Under-23, Anjali Shimar Under-19, Shivani Under-16, Under-19 and Under-23 and Haral Vashisht of HDCA were honoured in a grand function like Republic Day for leading the Punjab Under-19 team. He said that these players of Hoshiarpur have been touching new heights in cricket for the last three-four years. He said that with this dedication and hard work, the coaches of Hoshiarpur are making the players practice hard, due to which soon in the coming time some player from Hoshiarpur will make his place in the Indian team. On this great achievement of the players, HDCA President Dr. Daljit Khela, Chairman Tournament Committee Dr. Pankaj Shiv, Vivek Sahni Joint Secretary as well as the group association members congratulated the players. On this occasion, District Women Coach Davinder Kaur, District Coach Daljit Singh, District Trainer Kuldeep Dhami, Coach Daljit Dhiman, Coach Madan Dadwal and Coach Dinesh Sharma congratulated the players and wished them a good future.
