MLA Jimpa inaugurated the work of laying sewerage pipeline in Birbal Nagar at a cost of Rs 13.75 lakh

MLA Bram Shankar Jimpa today inaugurated the work of laying 245 meter long sewerage pipeline in Birbal Nagar at a cost of Rs 13.75 lakh on behalf of the Municipal Corporation.
MLA Jimpa said that this project will provide a permanent solution to the age-old sewerage problem of the area residents. This will provide relief to the local people from problems like waterlogging and drainage of dirty water. Appreciating the efforts of the Municipal Corporation, he said that priority is being given to the development of basic facilities in the city and such works will further strengthen the sanitation system of the area.
The MLA said that the Municipal Corporation is committed to providing better facilities to the city residents and in this connection this sewerage project has been started. The work of laying the pipeline will be completed soon so that people can avail its benefits as soon as possible.
The MLA said that the Punjab government is laying special emphasis on the overall development of cities. In the coming time, new schemes will be implemented in other areas of Hoshiarpur to improve infrastructure like road construction, sewerage, and drainage.
Finally, he appealed to the public to cooperate with the Municipal Corporation in making the city clean and beautiful. Also, the Municipal Corporation officials were instructed to complete the work with quality and speed up so that the residents of the area can get benefits soon.
On this occasion, people thanked MLA Jimpa and expressed hope that development work will be speeded up in other areas as well.
On this occasion, Mayor Surinder Kumar, Sumesh Soni, Ajyapal Singh Sahni, Kapil Kumar, Monu and other dignitaries were also present.
