Balraj Singh Chauhan reached Kathmandu, Nepal after cycling 1044 km from Delhi. Under the Swachh Bharat Mission, World Ultra Cycling Association (WUCA)'s first cross country race gives the message of saving the environment, staying plastic free and world peace. He was felicitated by Nepal's Vice President Indira Rana Magar.

World Ultra Cycling Association (WUCA) organized the first cross country 1044 km race, which started from Delhi's India Gate, passed through Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, entered Nepal and ended in Kathmandu. In which 7 cyclists from different parts of the country participated, Hoshiarpur's international cyclist and Swachh Bharat Mission Municipal Corporation Hoshiarpur's ambassador Balraj Singh Chauhan also participated and completed the race before the scheduled time and got the first position. On reaching Kathmandu, Deputy Speaker of Nepal's House of Representatives Indira Rana Magar felicitated him. Giving information about this, he said that the main objective of this race is to give the message of clean environment, plastic free environment and world peace. During this we had to pass through very high mountains, winding paths and dangerous forests. He said that most of the road is hilly and there is no nameplate on the 150 km long national highway under construction, which means that cyclists have to walk on mud and rocks. Although I have cycled in different parts of India and abroad like England, Canada, France etc., but this Delhi Kathmandu race was a different kind of experience. Various cycling clubs felicitated him on the way. Rotary International 3292 Nepal in Kathmandu organized a grand felicitation ceremony for cyclists at the hotel under the leadership of Jatinder B Rajbhandari and felicitated all the cyclists by giving them certificates. Miss Nepal Ashma Kumari KC was also present on this occasion. It is noteworthy that Balraj Chauhan has brought laurels to Hoshiarpur in the country and abroad by cycling 1 lakh 74 thousand kilometers so far. On the occasion of Independence Day, Chauhan has been honored on various occasions by the district administration, universities and many other organizations for his cycling achievements. During this race, senior cyclist Dr. Pawan Dhingran, Madam Megha Jain Ludhiana, Sanjeev Ratan from Delhi, Naval Commander Dilip from Karnataka, Supreme Court lawyer Sanjeev Verma from Noida, dentist Dr. Nilesh from Raipur, organizer Jaspreet Ghatora, Anil Ratan were present with him.
