Deputy Commissioner wishes Holi, calls for celebrating Holi safely

Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain, while wishing the people of the district a happy Holi festival, appealed to the people to celebrate Holi together with natural colours.
The Deputy Commissioner also appealed to the devotees going to Sri Anandpur Sahib for Hola Mohalla and Maidi Mela to travel safely. She said that special attention should be paid to the speed of two-wheelers and devotees should be carried in big vehicles only as per the required number. In an appeal related to Holi, she said that during the festival, Holi should be celebrated with natural and light colours, completely avoiding chemical colours. Also, she said that priority should be given to celebrating Holi in a safe manner and any kind of hooliganism should be avoided.
