 Deputy Speaker Jai Krishan Singh Rouri held a meeting with Panchs, Sarpanchs and officials of 65 villages

MLA  Garhshankar constituency and Deputy Speaker of Punjab Assembly Jai Krishan Singh Rouri held a meeting with senior officials of various departments and Sarpanchs and Panchs of 65 villages regarding village development works in the meeting hall of sub-division Garhshankar. On this occasion, the Deputy Speaker stressed on the need to complete all-round development works of villages in mutual coordination between the officials and Sarpanchs and said that the development of Punjab is linked to the quality of development works in the villages. He further said that the Honorable Chief Minister of Punjab Government Bhagwant Singh Mann has started the 'War against Drugs' campaign. Its success is also linked to the village Panchs, Sarpanchs and concerned officials. He asked everyone to contribute to the struggle of the Punjab Government to end corruption. On this occasion, while reviewing the development works going on in the villages, he stressed on the concerned officials and Sarpanchs to pay special attention to the quality of material so that the sustainability of development works can be maintained. On this occasion Baldeep Singh Chairman Market Committee Garhshanker, Charanjit Singh Channi OSD, Rakesh Aggarwal Tehsildar, Madam Manjinder Kaur BDPO Garhshanker besides officers of various departments were present.
