Deputy Speaker and newly appointed Chairman of Market Committee honoured at village Gogon Mahitabpur

Deputy Speaker of Punjab Assembly Jai Krishan Singh Rouri said that during the last three years, the state has witnessed immense progress in the fields of education, health, industry, investment, sports and employment.

Deputy Speaker Jai Krisha  Singh Rouri said today at a function organised in connection with the appointment of new Chairman of Market Committee Baldeep Singh Saini at village Gogon Mahitabpur in Assembly constituency Garhshankar that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Punjab has set new milestones of progress in various fields. He said that a new revolution has come in Punjab in the field of education, under which School of Eminence and School of Happiness are being established. He informed that 9 schools will be built in the district under the School of Happiness Project. Talking about the health sector, Jai Krishan Singh Rouri said that the Punjab Government has successfully implemented the promise of providing quality health facilities to the people near their homes by setting up 73 Aam Aadmi Clinics in the district, where better health services are being provided to the people.

In the field of employment, Jai Krishan Singh Rour said that the Punjab Government is committed to providing proper employment opportunities to the youth and till last month, 2086 unemployed youth were provided employment opportunities by the Employment Bureau in the district. He said that the Punjab Government ran a single window system through Business First Portal to facilitate the industries, under which proposals for new investment of Rs 3066 crore were sent by 103 investors through the online portal in district Hoshiarpur from 2024 till date.

The Deputy Speaker said that the Punjab Government is continuously working for the progress of the state and honors the good personalities who have contributed significantly to the prosperity of the state. He congratulated Chairman Baldeep Singh Saini on the post and wished that he would discharge his responsibility with full loyalty, dedication and hard work. Baldeep Singh Saini thanked the Punjab government for giving him the responsibility and said that he will serve with full dedication. On this occasion, both the personalities were honored.

On this occasion, all the Sarpanchs and Panchs of Assembly Garhshankar, Block Pradhans and Aam Aadmi Party volunteers, besides District Planning Committee Chairperson Karamjit Kaur, Municipal Council President Trayambak Dutt Airy, Municipal Panchayat President Davinder Singh, Vice President Shashi Bangar, Harinder Mann, Charanjit Singh Channi, Prince Chaudhary, Kripal Singh, Sumit Soni, Dharam Singh Fauji etc. were also present in the function.
