Under the chairmanship of Khurshid Ahmed, the president of the Intizamia Jama Masjid Eidgah Committee, a demonstration was held outside the Jama Masjid by burning an effigy of terrorism in strong protest against the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. On this occasion, the General Secretary of the Committee, Dr. Mohammad Jamil Bali, strongly condemned the terrorist attack and expressed solidarity  with the people killed in this attack. He said that killing innocent people by asking religion is a cowardly act. In Islam, the killing of any innocent person is equal to the killing of the entire humanity. This is not only  a conspiracy to spread hatred between Muslims and Hindus of this country but is a heinous act committed against unarmed tourists. It is sure that  they will have to bear its punishment  because the aim of terrorism is to break unity and integrity of the country. Pakistan has never been able to become a good neighboring country.
