Digital crop survey on war foot; agri lands khasra & crop photos be linked online: Deputy Commissioner

Deputy Commissioner Aashika Jain on Thursday said that the Digital Crop Survey has initiated in the district on war foot to link the crop on agri land with khasra number and Girdawari online through ‘Digital Crop Survey App’.
Stating that the April 16 is fixed for accomplish the task, Deputy Commissioner Aashika Jain said that the teams of the Revenue Department were carrying out the Crop Survey by visiting fields in respective sub divisions. She said that the online registration of the actual crop through Khasra number of agricultural lands thus uploading the picture would link the Girdawari with modern technology. The Patwari’s and teams engaged for this purpose have been equipped with
smartphone-based 'Digital Crop Survey App' through which they could get the registration done in the fields. Deputy Commissioner said that the teams would enter the relevant Khasra number, take a picture of the actual crop for registration, which would bring further transparent and efficient process to get benefits and advantage of agri related schemes including time-to-time compensation.
The survey is going on war foot, said Aashika Jain adding that the teams of other line departments were also put in place in view of the limited number of Patwaris so that the task could be achieved by the set deadline.
Ashika Jain said that the youngster, who have passed senior secondary, could also become part of this work, for which they will be provided honorarium. Pertinently, the interested youth can contact with the officials of their respective tehsils.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the digital crop survey will not only bring about improvement and transparency in the administrative process, but also farmers will be able to get government benefits and compensation well in time.
