Under the leadership of former Cabinet Minister Sohan Singh Thandal, prominent people of the area today remembered Baba Sahib Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar ji
by garlanding the statue of and distributing laddus in village Thandal on the occasion of 134th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar. On this occasion, Ravinder Singh Thandal Youth Leader, Master Harbhajan Singh, Sanjeev Kumar Pachanangal, Avtar Singh President District Kisan Morcha, Numberdar Gurnam Singh, Jathedar Jarnail Singh Baddon, Jaswinder Singh, Gurpreet Singh and others were present.
On this occasion, S. Thandal said that the dream of harmony, equality and social justice in the society created by Bawa Sahib Dr. Bheem Rao Ambedkar and others is still relevant today. By drafting the Indian Constitution, he not only gave direction to the country but also worked to provide rights to the weak, Dalit and backward classes.
