The football team of students of Sant Baba Dalip Singh Memorial Khalsa College Domeli, an educational institution run under the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, won the bronze medal by securing the third position under the leadership of Prof. Ramandeep Mukhi, Head of Physical Education Department, in the football matches organized during the B Division Inter College Competitions of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. On reaching the college, these players were felicitated by Principal Dr. Gurnam Singh Rasoolpur and all the staff members. During these matches, the college team emerged victorious by defeating S.G.R.D. Degree College Pandher 6/0 and qualified for the league competitions organized by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. After this, they won the bronze medal while playing matches with different teams in the league competitions. The football team was captained by Manraj Singh, Maninderjit Singh, Manjinder Singh, Karanveer Singh, Mandeep Singh, Jaskirat Singh, Harpreet Singh Maras, Dildar Singh, Deepak Gupta, Davinder Singh, Chandan, Chain Singh, Baljit Singh, Akash, Yuvraj Singh, Navjot Singh, Harmandeep, Murari Paswan. On this occasion college principal Dr. Gurnam Singh Rasoolpur congratulated the students. On this occasion Prof. Ramandeep,. Satnam Singh and S. Kanwaljit Singh along with all the college staff and students were present.
