Lal Chand, Personal Assistant to the Deputy Commissioner of Hoshiarpur, has extended his heartfelt appreciation for the state government’s intensified anti-drug drive across Punjab. Speaking during an interaction with senior journalist Daljit Ajnoha, Lal Chand lauded the administration’s firm stance against the drug menace and termed the campaign as a meaningful step towards building a 'Rangla Punjab' — a prosperous, progressive, and drug-free Punjab.
He emphasized that the youth of Punjab are the backbone of the state's future, and any effort to protect them from the grip of addiction must be supported wholeheartedly. "The way this campaign is being executed reflects the government's strong will to eliminate drugs from society," he said. "This is not just an enforcement operation but a social movement that needs support from every section of society."
Lal Chand also highlighted the need for community involvement and awareness programs to sustain the momentum of the campaign. He encouraged NGOs, media, and educational institutions to join hands with the government in this noble cause.
He concluded by expressing hope that such sustained efforts will pave the way for a brighter and healthier Punjab, truly making the vision of Rangla Punjab a reality.
