 Outrage Over Insult to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's Statue in Phillaur; Former Cabinet Minister Sohan Singh Thandal Strongly Condemns Incident

A strong reaction has emerged over the recent incident in a nearby village of Phillaur, where objectionable words were written near the statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and a controversial statement

was made against him by Gurpatwant Pannu. Addressing the issue, senior journalist Dr. Daljeet Ajnoha held an exclusive discussion with BJP leader and former Cabinet Minister Sohan Singh Thandal.

During the conversation, Thandal strongly condemned the act, calling it a deliberate conspiracy to divide society. He emphasized that Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was not just a leader of the Dalit community but a great thinker and social reformer for the entire nation. He asserted that such disrespectful acts cannot be tolerated.

Thandal further described Gurpatwant Pannu’s statement as anti-national and urged the Indian government to take strict legal action against him. He stated that such elements are trying to spread unrest in society and must be given severe punishment to prevent such incidents in the future.

In his discussion with senior journalist Dr. Daljeet Ajnoha, Thandal also stressed the importance of maintaining harmony in society. He called for strict measures to curb activities that spread hatred and appealed to the public to remain peaceful and refrain from getting provoked by such incidents.
