The main objective of the Punjab Education Revolution campaign launched by the Punjab Government is to strengthen the infrastructure of government schools and provide the best facilities to the schools from every point of view, so that the students of government schools can be made capable according to the times by giving them modern education. These views were expressed by Dasuya MLA Karambir Singh Ghumman on the occasion of inaugurating development works in 5 government schools of Assembly constituency Dasuya. Boundary wall, repair and other development works were done in these schools.
MLA Karambir Singh Ghumman said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the state government considered the poor condition of government schools and health institutions as a priority area and carried out record development works, as a result of which the students of government schools are achieving high achievements in every field. He said that the education revolution will become the basis of progress of our state and the children of ordinary families will touch great heights by studying in government schools. He said that the development of infrastructure in government schools has transformed the schools.
The MLA said that the Punjab government has set a record by providing government jobs to 54 thousand youth so far. He said that in government schools, students are encouraged to pursue education according to their interests by enhancing their skills so that after passing 12th, they can become eligible to participate in competitive examinations and serve on posts of their choice. He also said that the campaign to make government departments completely corruption free is also bringing positive results. On this occasion, he also specially honored meritorious students.
