District Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Officer Mrs. Ramandeep Kaur said that District Employment and Entrepreneurship Bureau-cum-Model Career Centre Hoshiarpur in collaboration with 

 LPU (Lovely University) Phagwara organised a personal guidance programme for the students of class 10th at MR City International School Garhshankar about their future career options. During this programme, the psychometric test of the students was taken by Varun Nayyar, senior officer of LPU Phagwara, according to which various counsellors did personal counselling of the students of class 10th and their parents, in which the students were informed about which subject they can choose after completing their 10th class studies. Apart from this, career counselor Vishal Chawla informed the students about the importance of employment bureau and provided information about various study streams, ITI. Detailed information was given about the curriculum, diploma and degree courses, employment generation efforts by placement cell, free internet facility provided by employment bureau, self-employment schemes and short term technical courses.

During this career guidance program, the entire staff of the concerned school and 84 students participated in this program with great enthusiasm. On this occasion, Principal Mansi Tyagi of MR City International School, Garhshankar expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the team of District Employment and Business Bureau, Hoshiarpur.
